 On 14 Aug 2017, Chairman of the board of Beroni Group Mr. Boqing Zhang, Vice President of R & D department of Beroni Group Docter  Zhenghu Jia and his officers were invited by University of New SouthWales(UNSW) to visit UNSW. Vice President of research Professor Ana Deletic and Assistant President of international affairs Mr. Laurie Pearcey attended the welcome meeting. Vice President of research Professor Ana Deletic introduced the basic situation of university in detail, looking forward to further strengthen cooperation and communication through this discussion. Mr. Laurie Pearcey introduced the remarkable achievements of the transformation of technological achievements in university and put emphasis on the torch innovation park of UNSW.

On behalf of Beroni Group, Mr. Boqing Zhang thanks for the invitation of  the University of New South Wales, and showed the listing road and  short-term planning of Beroni Group to the participants, hope that the two sides play their respective advantages and carry out the deep  cooperation in the scientific research project, talent training, the popular  science education, public welfare promotion and international  conferences, etc, which responses to the great call and vision “One Belt and Road ” between China and Australia.

On the morning of 14 Aug 2017, accompanied by Warwick Dawson, chief  executive officer of the Innovation and Partnership Center at the  University of New South Wales, and Jim Henderson, chief operating officer of the Innovation Department, Mr. Boqing Zhang, Docter Zhenghu Jia and his ofiicers met with Prof. Phil Hogg, founder of Cystemix Technology, and further learned that the Cystemix project Scientific breakthroughs in brain science and development prospects. Mr. Boqing Zhang introduced the development of Beroni Group, the overall strength of scientific research, future development planning, he said, both parties should make full use of scientific research and resource advantages, and establish comprehensive  cooperation mechanism on talent training technology, resource sharing, which has a great significance for promoting the common development of both sides. At the same time, Mr. Zhang hope that in the future the two sides have a deepen understanding through mutual scholars visits and carry out multi-level,diversified cooperation and communication .

After that, Mr. Boqing Zhang and his officers visited University of New South Wales Brien Holden Vision Institute, and held talk with Yvette  Waddell,Chief operating officer of Brien Holden Vision Institute. Brien Holden Vision Institute headquartered in University of New South Wales, Australia, and its branch and partner organizations across the world’s major countries. The Institute is committed to the international development of optics, scientific research and education. The predecessor of the institute was in Australia University of New South Wales School of optometry, cornea and corneal contact lens Research Center (CCLRU) and founded in 1976. For more than forty years, as the world’s leading research base for visual science and technology transformation, the center has developed a number of scientific and technological achievements that have epoch-making significance for eye care. Professor Waddell Yvette witnessed the development process of Brien Holden Vision Institute , and made outstanding contributions to its development. She introduced Brien Holden Vision Institute’s founding history, research mission, structure, academic activities etc to Beroni Group representatives. After consultations, the two sides will carry out cooperation on product development, education training and public health projects, which will  promote the development of optometry, optics and eye care in china.

At noon, Mr. Boqing Zhang , Docter Zhenghu Jia and his officers visited  the Social Policy Research Center and learned more about the  outstanding contribution made by the University of New South Wales to   social policy research and two parties reach an important consensus onthe project— special care groups of orphans and disabled children in
China.
In the afternoon, the Beroni Group representatives also visited the Lowy Cancer Research Center, the Department of Biotechnology and  Biomolecular Sciences, and the Animal Image Facilities Laboratory. The two sides discussed the form and ways of cooperation, meanwhile, hope  that two sides will find areas of common interest, carry out scientific research cooperation, personnel training, industrial transformation and  international communication.
