On Dec. 5, 2017, The first “Precision Medicine & Medical Care Aging International Forum” began in Tianjin Yingbin Hotel. A number of experts and business leaders from different countries discussed and shared the scientific achievements in the fields of precision medicine, medical care aging, stem cells and regenerative medicine together for contributing to the innovation and transformation of biological technology, precision medicine and regenerative medicine.
The forum was sponsored by Beroni Group, organized by ZhongShangBeiLuoNi (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd, co-organized by College of Life Sciences of Nankai University, University of New South Wales, Columbia University, Nankai University Alumni Association in Tianjin, Tianjin University of Commerce Alumni Association, National health industry management and guidance center medical and life insurance rehabilitation industry professional committee. Besides, it was strongly supported by Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technological Commission, International Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine Association, China Medicinal Biotech Association, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and China Alliance of Stem Cell Industry Development.
With the idea of high-end communication and consensus promotion, the aim of this forum is establishing an international communication platform, exploring how to develop innovative technology of biological technology, life sciences, precision medicine and regenerative medicine and facilitating international academic and industrializedcommunication in the fields of biological technology, precision medicine, medical care aging and regenerative medicine. This forum consists of experts’ keynote speeches and a round-table conference about precision medicine. Hundreds of science researchers in academia of biological technology and precision medicine and biotechnology enterprise leaders at home and abroad attended this forum, discussing the development and problems about precision medicine and medical care aging together.
On Dec. 6 morning, the first Precision Medicine & Medical Care Aging International Forum started in Tianjin Yingbin Hotel. Professor Zang Yingnian, the special Chinese guest, a famous smoking control expert, the expert of Capital University of Medical Sciences, also the professor of Northeastern University, made the opening address. He said: “ There is a big prospect in the field of precision medicine and medical care aging. This forum provides a communication and mutual learning platform for the experts from Japan, America, Britain, Australia and China, it is significant.”
At the opening ceremony, Professor Hu Zhiyuan, the researcher of National Center for Nanoscience, also the member of Chinese Committee for Bio materials, wished this meeting a complete success. He said: “ In America, the aim of precision medicine has been improved, it is called Health for All. Precision medicine and medical care aging are closely related. The things we need to do is not only the precision treatments for the serious illness patients, but also the care for our health in our whole life.”
Mr Zhang Boqing, the chairman of Beroni Group, general secretary of the Organizing Committee, warmly welcomed all participants. He said: “ This forum offers an excellent opportunity to develop the communication and cooperation among China, Japan and other countries. By this international high-end communication platform, we hope to collect various countries’ health concepts and ideas in the fields of precision medicine, regenerative medicine and medical care aging to achieve information and resources sharing and contribute to human health and cancer prevention.”
Mr Kong Deling, the dean of College of Life Sciences of Nankai University attended this conference and shared the latest research efforts of College of Life Sciences of Nankai University and the medical research mainly focusing on chemical biology. He said: “ The most important thing of chemical biology is the means of sensing, detection and probe. That is closely related with precision medicine. We will make chemicals and antibody drugs on the basis of research efforts, design and develop precision drugs and treatments by chemical biology means.’’
Chairman Hanazawa Ichi, a Japanese famous elderly care expert, also the entrepreneurship chairman and CEO of Japan Lions Group made a speech about medical treatment and elderly care. He said: “ Japan and China are the members of Asia, we have a unprecedented aging problem. Japan Lions Group engages in check in care and arrive and depart care, which coincides with the fundamental state policy of China. Chinese operation mode about healthy care is in its initial stage, Japan Lions Group has integrated into China.’’ He hopes that by this forum, Japan Lions Group can bring more advanced medical and old-aging experience to China and strengthen the cooperation in this field.
In the first “Precision Medicine & Medical Care Aging International Forum”, many experts made a discussion about precision medicine, regenerative medicine, medical care aging and scientific clinical research in aspects of nanomedicine, gene sequencing, immune therapy, in vitro diagnosis and drug development. Meanwhile, they deeply discussed the research topics about genomics, medical big data, body fluid(saliva, blood, urine)tumor detection, molecular probes, treatment of human chronic diseases, tissue implantation of bio-materials, DC immunocyte therapy, adipose-derived stem cells for anti-aging, immune cancer cells , early screening of human tumors, oncology drug development and targeted therapy. They faced up to the challenge of technology, came up with many comprehensive ideas for the medical research about precision medicine and regenerative medicine. They came together, summarized and deeply analyzed the academic achievements for grasping the research directions in the fields of precision medicine, regenerative medicine and medical care aging.

Professor Walter Ian Lipkin was born in November of 1952. He is a medical expert and virologist, a professor of Columbia University, the director of the world health organization joint diagnostic center about zoonosis and new infectious diseases , also the American director of the pathogen found joint laboratory ofChina CDC virus disease center and Columbia University.
Professor Walter Ian Lipkin is the pioneer adopting genetic approach to treat infectious diseases. He firstly used subtractive cloning and high-throughput sequencing, finding and identifying 800 virtues related to human, wild and domestic animals. He also invented and carried out a series of diagnostic platforms.
In 2003, the fastigium of SARS infection, he came to Beijing and helped international famous experts to fight for SARS. And he also gave 10,000 detection kits to our country and helped work out the effective mean for overcoming SARS. Besides, he had closed research cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. On May 9th, 2013, he came to Beijing and established pathogen found joint laboratory with Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. On January 8th2016, he won China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award in 2015.
On round-table conference, the experts made discussions about the future trend of precision medicine, investment orientation in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine and the plan putting the projects about cancer prevention and anti-cancer into practice. By learning the research efforts mutually, the experts tried their best to find a breakthrough in the field of precision medicine, accelerate the transformation ofinnovations about tumor targeting treatment. Meanwhile, in respect of medicinal care aging, the experts discussed some livelihood issues, like how to realize home-based care for the aged, the development of medical care industrialization in Tianjin. On this conference, the experts made the conclusion that there are three steps in the field of precision medicine: precision detection, precision prevention and precision therapy, the investment orientations are gene chip, genetic testing and active part. They tried their best to find the most suitable, convenient and personalized therapies for patients.
