On 14th September, Jacky Zhang, Executive Chairman of Beroni Group was invited to participate in “The Fourth China-Japan-Korea Industries Expo, The First Investment and Trade Fair” and attended the sub-forum- The China-Japan-Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum & Business Leaders Summit as a guest speaker. Beroni Group participated in the summit as a representative of the Chinese companies, which is benefit for Beroni to accumulate the experience of multinational industry cooperation.
The summit was jointly sponsored by China Chamber of International Commerce, The Association for the Promotion of International Trade of Japan, Korea International Trade Association, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (China, Japan, South Korea) and held at the Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang for three days. The theme of the China-Japan-Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum & Business Leaders Summit is “open innovation, prosperity and development”. It aims to build a platform for the communication among companies from China, Japan and South Korea and promote the economic and trade cooperation. Representatives from international organizations, relevant national ministries and commissions, embassies and major business associations of the three countries and a number of business leaders and economic and trade experts from home and abroad attended the summit.
During the summit, Shenfeng Zhang, Vice-president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Yukio Hatoyama, Japan’s former Prime Minister, Qingying Tian, a leader of Weifang, Shandong, Meihan, Deputy secretary general of Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat, Jin Bingyou (transliterate), Director of Korea International Trade Association, Tanaka Masahiro(transliterate), Representative of The Association for the Promotion of International Trade of Japan and three countries’ experts, scholars and business leaders deeply discussed many issues, such as how to promote China-Japan-Korea economic and trade cooperation, how to advance the development of “Belt and Road”.
His speech mentioned that Sino-Japanese relations are now at the stage of the fastest-growing and greatest changing. He hoped that China and Japan will co-exist in amity and wished that the summit will bring an opportunity for the cooperation between China and Japan. Jin Bingyou (transliterate), Director of Korea International Trade Association, profoundly analyzed the opportunities for the three countries in economic and trade cooperation from the perspective of the economy. In his opinion, the trade volume of China-Japan-Korea is more than the benefits of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), so the three countries have broad prospects for development in the field of economic and trade cooperation. Qingying Tian, a leader of Weifang, Shandong said that the summit builds a good international platform for the China-Japan-Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation and “Belt and Road” international cooperation, it will speed up the coordinated economic development of China, Japan and South Korea, and promote the cooperation of higher quality and higher level.
As an advocate and executor of Sino-Japanese business cooperation, Beroni Group has promoted the cooperation in a number of projects in the field of science and technology. Jacky Zhang, Executive Chairman of Beroni Group was invited to attend the forum and make a keynote speech. He said, Beroni Group has explored and accumulated various experiences about the growth of multinational enterprises in the process of internationalization. On the one hand, we took advantages of the capital market to promote the commercialization of research findings and scientific and technological innovation; on the other hand, we actively conducted international scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges by means of international M&A and international cooperation in scientific and technological projects to activate capital market.
In addition, Jacky Zhang had a cordial talk with Toyotaka Mori, President & CEO of I’rom Group Co., Ltd. about the cooperation of Phase II clinical study of new drugs and immune cell therapy. Both sides agreed that enterprises can’t achieve long-term success with a changeless operating model. Enterprise should adapt to the current situation and strive for innovation.
China, Japan and South Korea are all important global economies. There are great industrial complementarities and potential for cooperation among three countries. During the summit, the attendees conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on major issues such as facilitating trade and investment facilitation and promoting the construction of the “Belt and Road”, which has a positive and far-reaching impact on promoting economic and trade cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea and accelerating the coordinated development of regional economies. Over the past few years of development, Beroni Group has made a good cooperation foundation with Japanese companies, especially in terms of industrial cooperation and trade exchanges. Through this forum, Beroni Group has also learned more experience in multinational industry cooperation.
