Cardiology Solutions
We develop or provide small nucleic acid drugs specifically targeting cardiomyocytes by combining cell-specific aptamers with gene-targeting agents (such as ASO, siRNA, or miRNA). This approach enables precise regulation of pathological genes for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Simultaneously, we utilize lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) modified with heart-specific aptamers to efficiently deliver mRNA or small molecule drugs to cardiac cells, achieving non-invasive therapy.
Hepatology Solutions
For a variety of liver diseases, we offer small nucleic acid drug that specifically target the liver organ or hepatic stellate cells (HSCs). By combining HSC-specific aptamers with gene-targeting agents, we achieve precise intervention in liver disease related genes.
Concurrently, we employ aptamer-modified lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to efficiently deliver mRNA or small-molecule drugs to the cytoplasm of HSCs, facilitating targeted therapy and reducing systemic side effects.
In Vivo Targeting Analysis of APT8 (16–34)
Currently, Beroni Group has developed a delivery tool for activated hepatic stellate cells – a nucleic acid aptamer – through SELEX technology. This aptamer enables targeted delivery of functional nucleic acids into activated hepatic stellate cells for the treatment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.
Application of the Aptamer-Wu-conjugated miR-23b-5p against hepatic fibrosis (jointly developed by Beroni Group Limited and China Three Gorges University).
Oncology & Immunotherapy Solutions
We provide small nucleic acid drugs that specifically target dendritic cells (DCs). These drugs integrate cellspecific aptamers with gene regulators (such as ASO, siRNA, and miRNA) to achieve precise regulation of immune cells, which are suitable for immunotherapy and vaccine development. Meanwhile, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) modified with DCspecific aptamers can efficiently deliver mRNA or smallmolecule drugs into the cytoplasm of DCs, enhancing antigen presentation and immune response.
