On December 19, 2022, the finals of the 8th “Jingniuhui” Venture Competition of Zhuhai Hi-tech Zone was launched in Zhuhai Hi-tech Zone, and technical experts, investment experts were invited to score. On December 20, the award ceremony of the competition was successfully held. With cutting-edge scientific research and solid project reserves, Beroni Pharmaceutical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. stood out from 705 (four tracks) competition projects at home and abroad by virtue of the Innovative Drug for Advanced Solid Tumor project, and won the third prize of the enterprise group of Jingniuhui “Biomedical and Medical Devices”.
The competition is hosted by the Zhuhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee. The competition aims to implement “industry first” deployment of Zhuhai, and promote the strategic task of building a future science and technology city with high standards in Zhuhai Hi- tech Zone. The competition takes “Zhihui Zhuhai · Jingchuang Hi-tech” as the theme, focuses on the “3+3+1” modern industrial system of Zhuhai Hi-tech Zone, continues to hold venture competitions, and attracts domestic and foreign talents, capital, and projects gathering in Zhuhai and settling in Hi-tech Zone.
The Innovative Drug for Advanced Solid Tumor project of Beroni Pharmaceutical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. was reviewed in the preliminary, quarter-final and final of roadshows, and emerged from 705 competing projects (four tracks) from China, the United States and other places at home and abroad. Affected by the epidemic, the competition took an online road show. Dr. Zhenghu Jia, Vice President of Beroni Group and President of R&D Center for Precision Medicine, together with his team members participated in the competition on behalf of the company.
