Strategic Cooperation Between Beroni Group and Capital Medica

On 11 November, senior management of Beroni Group welcomed Mr. Jun Furukawa, CEO of Capital Medica Co.,Ltd. (Capital Medica), Mr. Samejima Tomohiro, CEO of KURACI Co.,Ltd. and Mr. Takahiro Shirono, CEO of China Strategy Group. Representatives from Beroni Group and Capital Medica signed an official strategic cooperation agreement following deep and fruitful communication, with both parties expressing strong intentions to cooperate in the fields of medical services and elderly care services.

Capital Medica Co.,Ltd. is an enterprise focused primarily on offering integral management service for healthcare providers, supporting hospital management, medical-related services and elderly care services. Mr. Jun Furukawa, CEO of Capital Medica stated that “Capital Medica Co.,Ltd. was established and has operated for 15 years, with our major business focusing on supporting hospital management, with 25 hospitals and over 10 cutting edge facilities for the elderly under the direct management of Capital Medica Co.,Ltd.. In terms of local medical services in Japan, Capital Medica also cooperates with hospitals and medical institutions in Tokyo, Japan, it has seasoned medical operation teams and medical service providers in Japan, and mainly receives consumers from Southeast Asia at present.”

Mr. Jacky Zhang, Executive Chairman of Beroni Group, briefly introduced Beroni’s development history and core business focuses, and invited the Japanese representatives to visit the Beroni Group’s showroom, cultural presentation wall and workshop. Both sides expressed optimistic outlook regarding mutual development direction and business model and agree that there are multiple aspects for cooperation. They expect further cooperation and communication after this visit and will seek more cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, representatives from both parties discussed and analyzed in detail several aspects of medical and elderly care services. Included in the discussion, is that the Chinese concept of personal health is shifting from treatment to prevention. The huge Chinese medical consumer market is of great interest and importance to overseas medical institutions, especially with the increasing interactions between the domestic and international medical markets, increase processing of medical visa and increased consumers awareness of personal healthcare, all of which play a very good role in boosting the development of medical tourism and overseas medical travel.

Based on a synergistic corporate philosophy and core business focus, Beroni Group and Capital Medica formally signed strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop service model of “Overseas Medical Travel + Health Check-up” and promote medical services in Japan for Chinese consumers. Meanwhile, both sides acknowledges that China is in the need of nurse-practitioners with outstanding professional proficiency and rich expertise in the field of elderly care services, meanwhile Japan is recognized as a world leader in dietary guidance and lifestyle guidance for the elderly, so Beroni Group and Capital Medica plan to advance joint training programs for nurse-practitioners and elderly care professionals.

In the afternoon, the representatives of Beroni Group invited representatives of Capital Medica to visit TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital, which laid the foundation for closer cooperation between both sides. The successful signing ceremony indicates that Beroni Group will realize new breakthroughs in medical services and elderly care services. Both sides will utilize their respective competitive advantages and resource dominance to establish comprehensive cooperation mechanism on talents, medical facilities and resources, in order to boost multifaceted cooperation and exchange.
